Read the article in the LA times August 17, 2008  Jazz takes to the river, when the IJC hosts another Ohio River cruise
on Sunday, Aug. 24. This is the third straight year for the event, a one-day
outing on the Star of Louisville cruise boat, and includes a buffet brunch
and a jazz band for listening and dancing. Members had the option of
driving by car to the pier at
501 West
Riverside Drive, Jeffersonville or taking a charter bus which
leaves in the morning from Glendale Mall. However, the bus is now sold
out. Boarding time is 12:30 p.m. Boat returns at 4 p.m. Cost

August 17, 2008 Tommy Wills and Warren Grimwood are performing Saturday August 4, at the Tobacco Store in the parking lot at Irvington Plaza, Noon to 3:00pm. That is right next to where the Torch Restaurant used to be, which is now a Mexican Restaurant. Bring your dancing shoes, or just come to listen. July 30, 2008
