makes IJC membership so much fun?
Let us count the ways . . .
• frequent
concert-dances featuring nationally famous jazz bands and
combos;
• a musical one-day boat cruise or an annual winter weekend of
jazz at
Clifty Falls or other state park (events may vary from year to year);
• cooperative programs with area students to increase jazz appreciation;
• Jazz Notes, our newsletter, keeps us informed on jazz events,
coming attractions and prints topical articles;
• a once-a-year “Hangover Ball” featuring the best of local musicians;
• two all-member bands perform for residents of local retirement
and
health care establishments and for special civic and church events;
• each initial or renewal membership brings a pair of complimentary
event
